it was really pretty...

and a surprise...woke up to white skies and wondered if it was fog or snow...secretly hoping for fog...nope it's snow...BUT it was that great snow that is heavy and wet and you know will melt off by noon...or at least melt off by the next day...the kind of snow that makes the best snowmen if you were a snowman making kind of person...we vetoed snowman making for hot cups of coffee...we didn't have to go or be anywhere...annie on the other hand would have loved it if we had spent the entire day out there...sorry girl...

the lashes get a little longer every single day...

so funny and sweet and vocal and snuggly and squirmy and huggable...xoxoxo...  

waking up...

we hear you making little noises...then you start to wiggle chattering all the while...you pick your head up then lay it down...chatter...wiggle...love to watch you in your wake up routine..."good morning-afternoon-evening baby"...you see another face and a big grin spreads across your sweet cheeks...

Hunt has been able to hold this toy for awhile now...easy to grab...soft if he bumps his face with it...colorful to look at...and perfect for chewing...

j'adore...

this most huggable little creature...such a happy clam...such a snuggle puppy...such a drooly monster...i swear his long eyelashes grew longer this week...when you hold him he is becoming a clingy (in a good way) little monkey and does his best to wrap himself around you and is a great hip rider...waved bye bye...is so aware of his hands...not a fan of socks...is a big fan of taking his socks off...thinks his feet are toys...loves to see the baby in the mirror...is THE apple of my eye...

our little groundhog did NOT see his shadow...

no sir buddy...cloudy...no shadows...the little blue eyes gazed around and but NO shadows were to be found...i am trusting that spring will soon be upon us...although the 60 and no snow is working for me in february in new england...thank you mother nature...i am grateful...

Annie loves Hunter...we've been working with Annie to "share" her toys and especially bones/rawhides since before Hunter was born...this morning when Annie placed her rawhide on Hunter's tray i can only say i was delighted beyond measure to watch these two...Annie sat patiently while Hunter pushed it over the edge and to the ground...(and i am not delusional enough to think it was intentional of Hunter...the boy would surely have put it in his mouth first before giving it back)...really looking forward to the day when Hunter can actually grab it and toss it...oh the fun they are going to have...

every week Hunter has a new little skill...this week he is really reaching for and grabbing his toys with a stronger grip...and EVERY.SINGLE.THING goes straight to his mouth...if he can hold it he will taste it...nom nom nom...
